Manushi is a Trade Union for women domestic workers, Manushi is initiated through our education and motivation for domestic workers, it had nearly 3000 members from our working area.
Manushi Provides:
Manushi provide education on women’s rights and workers rights for its members.

Manushi provides trainings to upgrade the skills of women domestic workers.
Manushi functions as a job placement agency, it is also running a catering services and produces and markets soap and cleaning solutions.
Mansushi is involved in advocacy, lobbying and campaigning to regulate the domestic work. Manushi helps its members to become members of Tamil Nadu Domestic Workers Welfare Board.

CWDR has organized women domestic workers into a Trade union, "Manushi". Which works for the rights of women domestic workers through advocacy and campaign activites. Manushi members have provided leadership in the struggle to achieve adequate recognition for the work of domestic workers. Manushi actively advocates for government regulation of domestic work and the creation of a welfare board for domestic workers. In 2008, Manushi initiated a state - level network, expanding to other districts of Tamil Nadu. Manushi maintains a Tamil website www.manushisangam.org and offers services to its members such as skill up-gradation training, job placement assistance, and leadership development training. Manushi also operates a catering service business, And job placement Agency for domestic workers.
